NO Tryouts
No tryouts necessary! All players who register and submit payment will be placed on a team. Players will be sorted into developmentally appropriate teams during the first week of practice. After week 1 players will be assigned a team and coach; they will train with them for the remainder of the season.
Teams & Age Groups
Kern County Kits offers boys and girls teams designed to meet players at every stage of development. Teams are formed based on age, skill level, and individual growth needs, with a focus on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and long-term technical development in a supportive, competitive environment.
U8 (Under 8)
An introduction to competitive soccer focused on fundamentals, coordination, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
U12 (Under 12)
Emphasizes advanced technical development, tactical understanding, and preparing players for higher levels of competitive play.
U10 (Under 10)
Builds on core skills with increased structure, teamwork, and game awareness while continuing to develop confidence and technical ability.
U14 (Under 14)
Designed to strengthen technical ability, improve game intelligence, and prepare players for the speed and demands of high school competition.
Location & Schedule
All training sessions and matches are held locally on Tuesdays & Thursdays at:
Polo Community Park
11801 Noriega Rd, Bakersfield, CA
This central location allows families to avoid constant out of town travel while still receiving structured club level training.
Teams will be assigned to one of two training sessions:
5:00pm – 6:15pm
6:15pm – 7:30pm
Each team receives 1 hour and 15 minutes of training. Practice times are assigned based on team needs, age groups, and field space.
Season Information
Kern County Kits operates on a seasonal schedule:
Spring Season: March through June
Fall Season: August 4th through November 19th
Players may participate in one or both seasons. Uniforms are valid for the full year across both spring and fall seasons.
